It means that you are simply being mindful of your own needs. When you are able to do this, you are better able to support yourself and the people you care about.
Self-care comes in a variety of forms, from walking in nature, to taking a moment to just be, to just breathe and anchor into your own self belief. Connecting with the present moment and celebrating the little things in life, like sitting with a cuppa, reading a book, comfy spaces, the feeling of security, home cooked food and time with friends, it all lowers stress levels and allows you to create space for inner calm.
